How did you meet?

Alden and I met at the AU Welcome Back Barbecue in August 2007. I had run into my friend Nawal who'd just returned from a semester abroad in Egypt who I hadn't seen for some time. She invited me to eat with her, and her friend Steph, who was eating with her friend (who is also Steph), who had brought Alden. I thought he was kind of cute though gaunt looking and a little awkward and that's about it.

Over the next two weeks it seemed like Alden was everywhere; I just kept running in to him. I didn't think anything of it at the time because AU is like that; sometimes you just run into the same people everyday for two weeks and then don't see them for about thee months after that. By the end of that two things happened (well three I guess) Alden allowed me to play in his D&D game, he asked me out, and I said yes. That was September of 2007 and we've been together ever since.
